Phil and Chris were sent home last night on American Idol. Jordin, Lakesha, Blake, and Melinda are still standing.
My American Idol brackets are all messed up now. I had Chris in the final four and Phil going to the championship versus Melinda. It was no surprise about Phil though. He just didn't have what the other Idols had. Chris has it but just not enough. Although I am somewhat still surprised to see Phil go. I had Melinda and Phil being the last two. Looking back at last year's surprise winner, Taylor Hicks, I thought this year might go the same way.
My prediction now is Melinda and Blake being the last two. I think Lakesha will go home next week, then Jordin the following week. At this point though, if you are still in the competition you have made it. No shame in getting voted off the show at this point. Melinda Dolittle is by far the best! She has to win!
